WHAT DOES THE BUTTON EXPORT?
Answer :

Before pressing the button export, make sure that you selected the playlist that contains the songs that you want. Then click on "export", it will open a new window and you will be able to copy very easily the songs.
HOW CAN I CHOOSE THE SONGS THAT I WANT TO COPY?
Answer :

Select the songs that you want to copy and click on "add to xPort". Then select the playlist xPort and you will find the songs that you added. Then click on export.
HOW CAN I PLAY ALL THE SONGS WITHOUT THE IPOD PLUGGED IN?
Answer :

You need to copy them on a different drive that the iPod.
HOW CAN I EXPORT MY SONGS INTO THE ITUNES LIBRARY?
Answer :

Wait until the copy has finished and open iTunes. If your songs have been exported with the ratings.
- Click on the menu File ==> import and select xport.xml.

Else
- Click on File ==> Add a folder to the library and select the folder where you copied songs.
CAN I INSTALL XPORT ON MY IPOD?
Answer :

Yes, of course, this is a really good idea, just put the program xPort on your iPod, it will run correctly, and you will be able to switch from two computers.
I EXPORTED ALL OF MY IPOD, AND I SEE IN "LOG.HTM" THAT SOME SONGS WERE NOT EXPORTED.
Answer :

The default location that xPort choose to copy the songs is in a folder named "Music", created on your desktop. When looking at the file "log.htm", you will see the songs in bold that were not correctly exported, this is the most of time because xPort has not enough place to copy them.
WHY DO XPORT OR XPORT2COPY "FREEZE" WHILE COPYING?
Answer :

xPort & xPort2Copy freeze when your iPod can't be read, it happens when your iPod is disconnected or if the battery is uncharged.
MY IPOD IS MAC FORMATTED AND I WANT TO USE IT ON MY PC.
Answer :

You have to do several steps for this problem:

1. You buy xPort or xPort2Copy
2. Plug your iPod on your MAC and open the software.
3. Backup all your iPod to your MAC
4. Import your music into iTunes.
5. Plug your iPod on your PC
6. Reformat it in PC file format (it is recognized on Mac as well as on PC)
7. replug your iPod new formatted on your MAC.
8. Put your music from iTunes to iPod.

Your iPod is now fully compatible with MAC and PC software.

xPort has an internal export list named xport that contains your export selection.


Copy your songs without losing ratings. When the copy is finished, import the file xport.xml into iTunes!

xPort shows the picture of the album of the selected song, you can add them from iTunes.

Use the m3u playlist to hear your favourites songs at work for example, when iTunes is not installed. m3u playlist are supported by all softwares for mp3.
